Stephen Pierce is an Internet multi-millionaire who, with his wife, runs an expansive empire of online businesses and three different coaching clubs. He is known as one of the powerhouses of the Internet and teaches others to replicate his success.
Pierce didn't start out successful. He managed to ruin those few opportunities that came his way on the mean streets of Washington, DC.
He had no future and no hope. When Pierce was kicked out of high school at age 16, he thought it was the best thing that could have happened to him and felt liberated. He kicked open the door of the school building and never returned to. He immediately set about doing what dropouts usually do: looking for trouble. When there wasn't any trouble to be found, he made trouble.
After a couple of years of "liberation," Pierce was caught in the middle of a street fight between two gangs after a drug deal had gone bad. A bullet ripped into his leg and he fell over, not knowing if he'd live or die. He was taken to the hospital, but spent a long time laying on a gurney looking up at the harsh lights. He didn't have insurance, didn't have a support system. No one believed in him. He had been too bad for too long.
At that moment, Pierce knew he needed to stop blaming everyone else for his problems and start claiming the future he knew he deserved— instead of just waiting for it to happen.
The doctors treated him but left the bullet in his leg. Pierce assumed this was because he didn't have insurance (and probably because they expected he wouldn't survive much longer anyway). But the bullet is still there—a symbol of where he came from...and a reminder to be grateful.
He Turned His Life Around... And Went Bankrupt
Pierce spent the next few years turning his life around...only to go bankrupt. He started one business after another. They all failed. Even though he was no longer associated with gangs or dealing drugs, he was completely disowned by his family because they couldn't listen to his business dreams any more. They thought he should get a real job. No one took his calls. They told him that everything he touched turned to dust.
After filing for bankruptcy in the late1990s, he literally became homeless. An acquaintance let him sleep in his office at night. Pierce borrowed a computer and an Internet connection—and started to learn about this thing called the Internet.
He discovered he had a knack for choosing stocks. After a year of giving away his stock tips for free on a forum—and discovering his tips were worth $725K profit to anyone who had followed them—he started a membership site, with no website design skills whatsoever. He sent an email to the 1,200 people on his list and waited. After that first $350 order came in several minutes later, the momentum didn't stop. Pierce made $500K that first year and now—ten years later—grosses $10 million per year selling products on several websites, as well as through his lucrative speaking career.
Today, Pierce lives in a mansion inside a gated community in a custom designed home near Dallas. Their ranch allows his wife Alicia to live her dream of riding horses.
It's About Life, Not Profits
Pierce isn't content just selling products and relaxing in his mansion, however. He and his wife travel the world teaching people how to live their dreams, too.
As a Certified Accelerated Innovation Trainer, he coaches CEOs and other corporate executives. He's also a Certified Coach and works one-on-one with individuals who want to pursue their dreams and set up their own home-based Internet business.
Thanks to his travels to Singapore, Australia, India, Malaysia, Dubai, South Africa and other countries, he's helped thousands of people around the world set up their own successful online business as a result of his coaching and inspiration.
"I'm dedicated to giving more life to more people," says Pierce. "The more life you give to others, the more life you get yourself."
